Paint-Stick Violin

I made an instrument similar to a violin (G, D, A, E tuning) using:
-- a free paint stick from Home Depot
-- four thumb screws
-- a popsicle stick
-- a small cardboard box
-- fishing wire

For a violin costing less than $10, it handles pizzicato really well.
